Once accommodated at our comfortable facilities, the guests can enjoythe warm hospitality of the house, and get to know the Farm, its life, cultureand tradition. Together with our field staff, we have designed a comprehensive proposal, especially designed for those who enjoy equestrian tourism, and adapted to the different levels of skill and experience with horses. For those enthusiasts who are not familiar with the race, or have had little contact with it, the Field Host, together with the expert riders, give riding clinics to deepen the specific techniques required by the Peruvian Paso Horse, in order to get the most out of its unique characteristics. In this highly personalized process, our experts also see to it that every rider can find, among the horses exhibited at the Haras, that which better adapts to each one’s characteristics and personality. For those who have completed the training and are familiar with the breed, know its secrets and want to explore the landscapes beyond the limits of the park, we have drawn several riding routes along the paths, starting off at the cottage and going into the wild scenery of the neighbouring valleys and hills. These exclusive rides, which differ from the traditional circuits, are taken in small groups and they can last half a day or the whole day, in which case it includes a country lunch in the middle of the journey. And for those who enjoy rural tasks, they can take part in the daily activities laid on at the farm, such as training, getting the animals ready and taming of the horses which are for sale, as well as the care, bathing and brushing of each animal, while exchanging experiences with the expert riders and trainers.

Apart from the equestrian activities, our guests can avail themselves of a range of options to enjoy in group or individually, such as visits to the several parks and natural reserves in the area, or guided journeys and excursions along the trails and paths in the mountains. For sports lovers, we have a tennis court and a swimming pool harmoniously integrated to the surrounding landscape. Besides, our guests have free access to the La Quebrada Golf Club, which has a 9-hole court; and there is a private entrance directly from the park. Culture and history also have a place: Museums, Jesuit Farms, Archaeological Centres and Rupestrian Paintings weave with the beautiful crafts, such as baskets, textiles and indigenous pottery made using ancestral techniques. Another option to discover our culture is the kitchen of the cottage, where each one of the recipes of the menu is carefully prepared. There, our Chefs offer the visitors the opportunity to learn how to prepare the typical dishes and sweets from our country, and to know the ancestral secrets. And for those who prefer just to enjoy, the option is an excellent Creole barbecue, accompanied with folk music and a campfire under the stars. |
