About bloodlines, an element we consider extremely important, we seek to preserve three fundamental attributes: Strength, Smoothness on the advance and Elegance with progress. For acquisition and preservation of these attributes, we use our own specimens and sometimes other horses breeders carefully evaluated and selected.
The order in which attributes Strength, Smoothness on the advance and Elegance appears is not arbitrary, because it reveals the priorities set in our horses breeding, reproduction and training process. But all these attributes are essential to achieve a unique and distinctive horse.
Once genetic basis is obtained, in Haras Ampascachi we perform a careful and methodical work about feeding, field breeding, a proper hoofs treatment and a good horse handling based on Ethology and Learning Theory concepts applied to training.
Thanks to the Genetics and Education communion applied in our animals breeding and training, we get horses that:
• Respond confidence to stimulus
• Have a relax gait
• Improve their “paso llano” (smooth gait) performance.
At the same time, we obtained very strong specimens comfortable in their sooth gait with a good gallop and an extraordinary presence.
To summarized, in Haras Ampascachi Genetics is really important but we assigned the same or more value to the breeding and breaking-in process based on the Learning Theories and proper Horse Riding studies principles and techniques.
Our Haras Peruvian Paso Horses are appropriate for any type of ride, sporting competitions such as TREC, endurance, among others. |
